The Ledger Live App uses the same hardware-based authentication as the desktop version:

Why won't my Ledger Nano X connect via Bluetooth?
Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on both devices, your Ledger Nano X has sufficient battery, and you've granted the Ledger Live App necessary Bluetooth permissions. Also verify your mobile device's Bluetooth compatibility and try resetting the Bluetooth connection in the app settings.
Is Bluetooth connection secure for cryptocurrency transactions?
Yes, Ledger® uses advanced encryption for Bluetooth communication. More importantly, all transactions still require physical confirmation on your hardware device, so even if Bluetooth communication were intercepted, attackers couldn't authorize transactions without your device and PIN.
Can I use the same accounts on both mobile and desktop?
Yes, your accounts sync across platforms. You can access the same cryptocurrency accounts on both Ledger Live Desktop and the Ledger Live App, though you'll need to connect your hardware wallet separately to each platform when performing transactions.
What happens if I lose my phone with the Ledger Live App installed?
